Preventions

Safety measures to avoid transmission of COVID-19 are essential in helping contain the spread of the virus. Much of the measures in place are similar to prevent the cold and flu. Any questions on COVID-19 or self-isolation, please check BC Prevention. Following BC Protocol, masks will be mandatory in the studio until further notice.

  1. Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds using soap and water.
  2. Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  3. Wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible.
  4. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
  5. Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  6. Stay home if you feel unwell
  7. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention immediately.

According to BCCDC, symptoms for COVID-19 include fever, cough, muscle aches, and difficulty breathing. If you find yourself in a situation where you have the following symptoms, use the BCCDC Self-Assessment Tool

There are helpful information in BC Ministry of Health’s Pandemic Preparedness Guide as well.

Changes to Studio Facility Events

In accordance with the Provincial Health Officer’s orders, Lost Boys in-person events are postponed or cancelled until further notice. Where possible, we will work to transition events to an online format. However, in-class lectures and studios will continue to be open for students to access. Thus, the studio itself will be open to use under the right supervision and COVID-19 safety measures in place.

Effective until further notice, all students must follow COVID-19 safety guidelines to enter the studio. For further information please go to Information for Students
